DESCRIPTION
Melon Seeds - Cantaloupe - Golden Delicious
The Golden 51 was developed at Cornell University in the 1950's. A strong yeilding, early ripening melon with numerous fruits weighing between 2 and 4 pounds each. With a thin skin, and small seed cavity is small, the Golden Delicious offers more deep orange flesh than many other canteloupes. These melons are highly aromatic, and have a sweeter flavor than many canteloupes. A great choice for both home gardens and market growers. Direct sow in the spring in full sun. Space plants about 1 to 1.5 feet apart, and sow seeds about half an inch deep. Resistant to Powdery Mildew (PM) and Fusarium Wilt (FW).
