DESCRIPTION
Growing Pink Lipstick Swiss Chard Vegetable Garden Seeds
Growing Directions:
Pink Lipstick Swiss Chard seeds should be sown in an area with full sun, and allowed plenty of space. Seeds can be sown directly two to three weeks before the final frost of the season, or sown indoors and transplanted later on. Sow seeds ¼ to ½" deep in rich, moist, well drained soil. Keep the rows of Swiss chard 18-24" apart with 18" between plants. The plants should be watered often and harvested carefully when they are fully mature. This should happen after around 60 days. When harvesting the plants, remove the leaves either individually or as a whole plant. Keep these Pink Lipstick Chard plants intact at their base for them to continue growing for multiple harvests.
Facts:
These pink swiss chard plants are easy to grow at home, and produce an efficient and abundant harvest. Swiss chard leaves are dense in flavor, much like spinach, and are high in nutritional value.
