Carrot Seeds - St. Valery

70-100 Days to maturity. Daucus carota var. sativus. St Valery Carrot Vegetable Seeds. Non-GMO, annual, open-pollinated, heirloom seeds. A very old, heirloom carrot strain that produces smooth, uniform orange-red roots to 10-12 inches long and 2-3 inches across at the shoulder with a pronounced taper. Sweet tender flesh with little core that is good for fresh eating and stores well. Has somewhat sparse tops (we suggest digging not pulling). Considered a maincrop carrot that is highly productive.
